The purpose is also to complete the identification of discussion issues and to begin resolving issues identified at last week’s study session and comments received by email. PREPARATION FOR FEBRUARY 27, 2019 STUDY SESSION In preparation for the public hearing and study session, Commissioners are asked to continue reviewing the Technical Committee’s recommended amendments, review the enclosed issues matrix, and share with staff any issues are misstated or missing. Staff has begun to provide responses to issues and in receipt of any additional discussion issues or questions, staff will provide an updated issue matrix to Commissioners early next week. Please send any additional discussion issues or questions to staff by Monday, February 25 at 8am so that they can be included in the updated matrix. Commissioners identified questions and issues during your February 20 study session. Staff has included the following information in response to comments identified by the Commission. • Commissioner East noted a correction to RZC 21.56.070 Technical Evaluation, paragraph 3, sentence 2, to omit the word “be”. This change will be reflected in the Commission’s recommendation to the City Council. • Commissioner Kritzer recommended staff post the presentation slides provided during the February 20, 2019 study session to the City’s website. Staff will include this additional information in the February 27, 2019 presentation. NEXT STEPS The Commission’s final study session is scheduled for March 13 to continue resolving issues and complete a recommendation.
