It is prudent to obtain at least three bids. This is a competitive field and it is often possible to realize substantial savings by shopping around. When contacting a maintenance contractor, give them a copy of the attached inspection report. The information it contains will save time and make it easier for the contractor to prepare an accurate estimate. The contractors can contact the Environmental & Utilities Services Division at (425) 556-2826 directly if they have any questions. If, upon re-inspection, the work is found to be deficient, the Utility will contact you and the contractor. Please notify Environmental & Utilities Services Division at (425) 556-2826 when the work has been completed (within the time frame given by the city.) That way we can re- inspect your system before you have paid the contractor. We will notify you by mail when the inspection report requirements have been completed and your system is compliant with City standards.
