AN ACT Relating to prohibiting the duplication of mitigation for 1 the same system improvements; adding a new section to chapter 43.21C 2 RCW; and adding a new section to chapter 82.02 RCW. 3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON: 4 NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 43.21C RCW 5 to read as follows: 6 A person required to pay an impact fee for system improvements 7 pursuant to RCW 82.02.050 through 82.02.090 shall not be required to 8 pay a fee pursuant to RCW 43.21C.060 for those same system 9 improvements. 10 NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 82.02 RCW 11 to read as follows: 12 p. 1 of 2 ESHB 2842.SL ---PAGE BREAK--- A person required to pay a fee pursuant to RCW 43.21C.060 for 1 system improvements shall not be required to pay an impact fee under 2 RCW 82.02.050 through 82.02.090 for those same system improvements. 3 Passed the House February 18, 1992.
