CALL TO ORDER Hearing Examiner Sharon Rice convened the hearing at 10:00 a.m. II. DESCRIPTION OF HEARING AND PROCEDURES Ms. Rice introduced the matter under consideration, reviewed the sequence of the hearing for the day, and explained the proceedings. Ms. Rice administered the swearing in of all those in attendance testifying on these matters, reminded the attendees that the proceedings were being recorded, and asked them to identify themselves for the record. The following Parties to the Appeal were in attendance: Mr. Eliyas Yakub, Appellant Spokesperson; Mr. Hozaifa Cassubhai, Appellant Spokesperson Mr. Steven Fischer, Development Review Planning Manager, City of Redmond; and Ms. Sarah Pyle, Senior Planner, City of Redmond. ---PAGE BREAK--- Hearing Examiner Minutes October 19, 2016 Page 2 of 2 III. APPEAL HEARING A. ANJUMAN-E-BURHANI, SEATTLE APPEAL File No. LAND-2013-00171 Administrative Appeal Request: Appeal of the denial to the extension requested of the Additional Information Letter deadline Location: 15252 NE 51st Street, Redmond Pre-hearing Procedural Issues and Questions: Mr. Steven Fischer, Development Review Planning Manager, stated that the City and the Appellant has been working on resolving this appeal and are seeking a continuance until January 18, 2017. Hearing no objection, Ms. Rice responded stating that the hearing will be continued to January 18, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. IV. ADJOURNMENT The hearing closed at 10:10 a.m., and the meeting adjourned.
