COUNCIL INTENT STATEMENT for REDMOND WATERSHED PRESERVE It is the intent of the Redmond City Council that the Redmond Watershed shall be preserved as a natural area unto perpetuity. It is of primary importance to protect and enhance the natural features, ecosystems, and diverse habitats. Low intensity recreational and educational activities are secondary to preservation and will be accommodated only to the extent that they do not conflict with the primary intent and goal of retaining the Watershed as a natural area. The site should be respected, shared and enjoyed as a natural preserve by current and future generations.
