Utility Service Connection Application A Utility Service Connection Permit is required for any new service connections to the City's sanitary sewer or water systems. For residential water services, the applicant may pay for the water service tap, placement of the service line and meter install, or hire a licensed and bonded contractor to conduct this work themselves via an additional right of way permit. Note: The city does not install sewer services for residential homes. Additionally, the city will not install any water or sewer service for commercial projects.For sanitary sewer repairs, the Permit Fee for On-Site Inspection and Permit Fee for On-site Repair are assessed. For sanitary sewer stub connections, the Permit Fee for On-Site Inspection and Sewer CCTV (lateral) are assessed. For sanitary sewer tap connections, the Permit Fee for Tap & On-Site Inspection and Sewer CCTV (lateral) are assessed.
