A ladder must also be set up and secured for all roofing inspections. If you are re-roofing more then one structure on the same property you will need a permit for each structure. As long as all inspections can be done at the same time each additional structure will be permitted at the $100 roofing repair permit price. The granting of a permit does not presume to give the authority to violate or cancel the provisions of any other state or local law regulating construction, the performance of construction, zoning or sanitation requirements. This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days, or if construction or work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days at any time after work is commenced.
