Park County Partners With ChaffeeConnect Park County is partnering in an exciting opportunity to plan and develop high speed internet solutions for our county businesses and residents. The project is called Chaffee Connect, which is an initiative of the Chaffee County Economic Development Corporation bringing together local business, community and government leaders, schools, libraries and interested citizens. Please complete this Broadband Survey about your internet connection. Why take the survey? Think about what it is possible to do today that was impossible just a few years ago: Download the latest book, music or a movie; take a class; read the news or research a question. You can keep up with friends and family all over the world. Serve your customers 24/7. Take care of business at any time or from alternate locations. The on-line world has become a daily part of our lives. Now think about your current internet connection. Is it fast enough? Reliable? Affordable? Do your or your customers complain about it routinely? What if it goes out? Can you get higher speeds at an affordable price? Internet access is a basic need of the digital age, just like power, streets and water. We now rely on the Internet in our personal and business lives to the point where high-speed, reliable and affordable broadband service is not just nice to have, but a necessity. There is no quick fix. The Chaffee Connect initiative has several steps: inventory the current state of our Internet services, aggregate Internet needs, and find private sector broadband solutions that work for the county and growing needs. Your answers are the key to planning and developing the right broadband solutions. We are asking you to speak up about your internet connection.
