APPLICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION AS A WHOLESALE FOOD MANUFACTURING AND/OR STORAGE FACILITY The following requirements are necessary to apply with the State & Park County Environmental Health Department as a wholesale food manufacturing &/or storage facility; 1. If you will be manufacturing at an already licensed facility in Park County, such as a Retail Food Establishment, you will need to provide our Environmental Health Department (EHD) staff with the following information;  A notarized letter from the licensed Retail Food Establishment that you will be manufacturing at the said establishment. With the letter you will need to submit a copy of the Establishment’s Retail Food license and Tax license.  A copy of your State tax license.  Other requirements to follow are the requirements in the county’s current LAND USE REGULATIONS related to zoning and use requirements. You must have a permitted septic system that can accommodate your said manufacturing /food processing business. Documentation will need to be provided to the EHD staff for review and verification.  A copy of the State Application for Registration as a Wholesale Food Manufacturing &/or Storage Facility, labeling, products list with description. 2. If your plan is to manufacture in your home and then sell to retail markets then you will need the following;  A separate kitchen dedicate to the manufacturing/ processing business.  The separate facility must fulfill the required standards within the COLORADO RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS (6CCR1010-2).  You must follow the same procedures related to any Retail Food Establishment with Park County.  You will need to be licensed in Park County as a Retail Food Establishment.  Other requirements to follow are the requirements in the county’s current LAND USE REGULATIONS related to zoning and use requirements.
