PAPER SHREDDING EVENT FOR PARAMUS RESIDENTS SATURDAY, April 17, 2021 9 AM—1 PM at the PARAMUS RECYCLING CENTER Due to Covid-19, all residents are asked to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a safe and successful day: Please wear face coverings & practice social distancing. All residents must remain in their vehicles at all times. This means you will not be able to watch your paperwork get shredded. If this is a concern for you, we recommend you wait until the next shredding event. Please have your paper in a paper bag or a cardboard box. A DPW worker will come to your vehicle to get your documents. Please have your bags or boxes to be shredded in an easily acces- sible location, such as the trunk or backseat. This will allow the DPW staff to retrieve your items safely. All personal documents can contain staples, but no paper clips, and will be shredded on site. Photographs, books, magazines, plastic binder covers, and x-rays are NOT acceptable for shredding. There is a limit of 4 banker’s boxes or paper bags per vehicle.
