FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: September 19, 2017 America’s Job Center of California to Host Hiring Event for Production Workers PALMDALE – The America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) (formerly the South Valley WorkSource Center), located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a hiring event on Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 9 am to 1 pm for production workers for a company in the Santa Clarita area. Job duties will include stacking, packing and placing product in shipping order, starting up and stopping equipment, assisting with production line, cleaning production area, assembly work, loading/unloading items from conveyors, carts and dollies, feeding and placing items for processing, and pulling damaged or ineffective equipment from production line. Potential candidates should have the ability to lift 50 lb., take instructions from supervisors and pass a drug test and background check. Interested applicants are encouraged to bring their California ID/driver’s license or passport, social security card, proof of income (EBT card, UI benefits paperwork, etc.), proof of residence (i.e. utility bill) and multiple copies of their resume.
