Palmdale Blvd. A dynamic and compulsive debut, Jam on the Vine chronicles the life of trailblazing African American woman journalist, Ivoe Williams, through the start of the twentieth century. In unflinching prose, Jam on the Vine follows Ivoe and her family from the Deep South to the Midwest, and provides an epic vision of the injustices that defined an era and a compelling story of a complicated history. New members are always welcome. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
