FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: May 26, 2017 America’s Job Center of California to Host Hiring Event for Allied Universal Security Services PALMDALE – The America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), formerly the South Valley WorkSource Center, located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a hiring event on Thursday, June 1 from 10 am to 1 pm for Allied Universal Security Services for armed and unarmed guard positions in Palmdale and Lancaster. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma/GED, active security guard card, firearms permit, a minimum of 3 to 5 years high-level security experience, ability to write clear and concise indent reports, understand proper radio protocol, have knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power Point, and be a leader and self-starter. Interested applicants should dress professionally to the recruitment and bring multiple copies of their resumes; Social Security card; California ID, California driver’s license or passport; proof of income (EBT card, UI benefits paperwork, etc.); proof of residence (i.e. utility bill); DMV driving record printout; and DD-214 (for veterans).
