FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: July 20, 2017 Learn How to Buy Your Own Building with Federal Funding Seminar Coming to Palmdale PALMDALE – College of the Canyons Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will present a free commercial real estate seminar titled “Learn How to Buy Your Own Building with Federal Funding” on Thursday, July 27 from 7:30 am to 9:30 at America’s Job Center of California (formerly the South Valley WorkSource Center), located at 38510 Sierra Hwy. in Palmdale. Admission and parking are free. Registration is required. On Jan. 1, 2017, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Department of Agriculture (USDA) updated the commercial real estate funding programs. More businesses are eligible and it is easier to buy your own building with as little as a 10 percent down payment. During this workshop you will learn about the new funding programs, the application process, benefits of ownership and how to qualify. Register at by 8 am on Wednesday, July 26.
