FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: February 27, 2018 Get Ready for Spring with Spin a Yarn at Palmdale City Library PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library’s knit and crochet program will be held Thursday, March 8, from 5:30 to 7 pm in the Activity Room of the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd. Spin a Yarn is held on the second Thursday of each month. Knowledge of the basics is required, but all skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. Participants work independently and should bring their own yarn and needles or hooks. The Library will provide snacks and refreshments and participants will have access to the Library’s books on knitting and crocheting. “Spring isn’t too far off,” said Library Associate Jaimie Jordan. “Pick out some bright, cheery yarn for your next project and bring it to this month’s Spin A Yarn. We love seeing everyone’s projects!” The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
