These forms MUST BE TYPED as they will be recorded and the County Recorder will not accept illegible or unclear documents (DO NOT TYPE IN MARGINS.) The following information and/or documents and a fee of $1,569.75 payable to the City of Palmdale will be required in order to process your Certificate of Compliance. 1. Copy of Grant Deed showing the current owner of record. 2. A Chain of Title. This information may be obtained from a Title Company. If the property was sold by means of a land sales contract, a copy of the land sales contract must be submitted. Chain of Title is required back to September 1962. 3. A copy of Title Policy or Preliminary Title Report that is no more than 6 months old. 4. Proof of access to the parcel, if not on a dedicated public street. 5.
