1 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: October 11, 2017 Parking Arrangements Announced for Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival Coming to Palmdale Amphitheater October 14 PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale has announced special parking arrangements for Marie Kerr Park and the Palmdale Amphitheater on the day of the Kaleidoscope Music & Art Festival coming on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is free. All artists, entertainers, vendors, event production personnel, sponsors with Kaleidoscope parking passes and individuals with disabled parking placards will have access to park in the paved lot between the Amphitheater and the Marie Park pool. All other patrons coming to Marie Kerr for programs, softball, soccer, basketball or the Kaleidoscope festival itself will be directed to park in the gravel parking lot at 25th Street West, just east of the Amphitheater. Parking for all programs and events is free. “This parking arrangement will help ensure the smoothest event set up and traffic flow, as well as the best possible experience for all who will be on site that day,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Supervisor Annie Pagliaro. Kaleidoscope will also feature live chalk artists, artisans, visual ---PAGE BREAK--- 2 and performing arts, Art of the Brew craft beer featuring Transplants Brewing Company, Lucky Luke Brewing Company, Bravery Brewing Company and Kinetic Brewing Company, Brushes & Brews with Tipsee Artist, Fresh Made Market culinary & apothecary vendors, food and much more. Performing on the Tapestry stage will be Grammy® nominee Lisa Haley & The Zydekats, Stone Soul, The High D Boys, Paddy’s Pig and Megan Tibbits. Featured on the Mosaic stage will be a line-up of regional and local singer/songwriters performing both cover songs and original music.
