PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF PALMDALE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, HOUSING DIVISION INVITING PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT REGARDING AMENDING THE 2008-2009 ACTION PLAN AND THE PROPOSED EXPENDITURE OF NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM FUNDS In accordance with the City’s Citizen Participation Plan and the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this notice is to invite public comment and review of the City of Palmdale’s proposal to amend the 2008/2009 Action Plan by the City Council on November 2, 2011 to program funds received from the sale of NSP assisted properties. The City proposes to amend the 2008/2009 Action Plan and the action, if approved by City Council, will reprogram funding to the following NSP activities: From: Program Income ($124,468.60 rounded per budget guidelines) ( $ 124,470) To: Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Disposition of Vacant Units $ 80,900 Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Disposition of Vacant Units 50% AMI (25%) $ 31,120 Program Administration (10%) 12,450 Total $ 124,470 In compliance with the City’s approved Citizen Participation Plan, the Consolidated Plan implementing regulation 24 CFR 91.105, and the amended review period as per the NSP Regulations, this notice is given to invite public review and comment of the City of Palmdale’s Draft amendment of the 2008-2009 Action Plan. Individuals wishing to express their views concerning the above-proposed activities are invited to attend the Council Meeting on November 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 38300 N. Sierra Hwy, Suite B, City of Palmdale, or to submit written comments to the City of Palmdale, Economic Development Department, Housing Division, Attn: Sophia Reyes, Housing Coordinator, 38250 N.
