Palmdale Blvd., will host a Holiday Film Festival from Dec. 26 through Dec 29 at 2 pm each day. Admission and popcorn are free. Featured films include It’s a Wonderful Life (PG) on Dec. 26, Home Alone (PG) on Dec. 27, The Rise of the Guardians (PG) on Dec. 28, and The Muppet Christmas Carol on Dec. 29. “It’s going to be a holly jolly Christmas in the Library, so come join us for our holiday film festival,” said Circulation Supervisor Janet McLagan. “It will give you and the kids something to do the last week of December: This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale City Library. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
