FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: October 30, 2017 America’s Job Center of California to Host Job Recruitment for Cemak Trucking PALMDALE – The America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), formerly the South Valley WorkSource Center, located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a job fair on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 9 am to 12 noon for Class A truck drivers and diesel mechanics for Cemak Trucking for their Palmdale location. Qualified candidates must be over 21 years old; have truck driver experience, a Class A driver’s license with air brakes; DMV H6 printout with a clean record; double triple endorsements; a high school diploma or GED; the ability to read, write and speak English; and must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening. Candidates should bring driver’s license, California I.D., Social Security card, or passport; proof of income (EBT card, UI benefits paperwork, etc.); proof of residence (i.e. utility bill); a DD-214 (if a veteran); and multiple copies of resume.
