FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: April 25, 2018 Palmdale Book Festival/ARTown Celebrates Literature and the Arts ARTAround Studio, Story Stage and DJ Licorice Pizza New for 2018 PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library and Legacy Commons for Active Seniors will host the third Annual Palmdale Book Festival & ARTown Fusion, a celebration of literacy and artistic culture for all ages, this Saturday, April 28 from 12 noon to 3 pm at Legacy Commons and Legacy Park, located at 930 E. Ave. Q-9 in Palmdale. This event will feature the works of local artists and authors that will be available for viewing and purchase, books for purchase from the Friends of the Palmdale City Library, food, crafts and STEM workshops, stories for kids, Izzy’s Taco House food truck, book readings, stories for kids, live music, High Desert Obedience Club Pet Pals therapy dogs, face painting and other activities.
