Palmdale Blvd., continues its summer movie series Friday, June 22 at 1 pm with a showing of the film Minions. Originally released in 2015, the animated film Minions is the story of a trio of small yellow minions that are recruited by a super villainess and her inventor husband as part of a plan to steal the British royal crown. Other movies scheduled to be shown as part of the Summer Movie Series include Cars (rated G) on June 29, Nim’s Island (rated PG) on July 13, and Ratatouille (rated G) on July 20. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale City Library. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
