Wednesday, November 1 – Friends of the Library Meeting, Chimbole Cultural Center, 4 pm. The meeting of the Friends of the Palmdale City Library, an organization devoted to helping support the Library. Thursday, November 2 – Coffee with a Cop – TBD, 9:30-10:30 am. Thursday, November 2 – Community Volunteer Resource Fair, Chimbole Cultural Center, 4 to 8 pm. Visit with local agencies to learn about volunteer, donation and engagement opportunities. The NLS team provides free assistance to individuals and families dealing with fair housing, unsafe conditions, mobile home residency law, loan modification, fraud, consumer debt, Section 8 legal problems and landlord/ tenant problems.
