FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: January 31, 2018 Registration on for Bamboleo Amiguitos PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s recreation and culture department is offering “Bamboleo Amiguitos,” an exciting six-week course where kids ages 2 to 4 sing, dance and play immersed in the Spanish language. Classes will be held on Sundays from Feb. 25 through April 8 from 10 to 11 am at the Palmdale Oasis Recreation Center, 3850 E. Ave. S in Palmdale. The cost is discounted to $75 for Palmdale residents and is $93.75 for non-residents. There is also a $30 material fee ($15 for each additional sibling) which includes crafts, books and audio downloads. “Children are immersed in Spanish via a unique style of storytelling, music, movement, games, role-play and art,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Coordinator Laura Rice. “Space is limited so early registration is highly encouraged.” Registration is available online at www.cityofpalmdale.org/playpalmdale (search for course 9082) or at the recreation and culture office located at 38260 10th St. East in Palmdale Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm.
