FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: April 10, 2017 Legacy Commons to Host Free Resource Fair for Seniors This Wednesday PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s Legacy Commons for Active Seniors will host a Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 12 from 10 am to 12 noon at Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, located at East Avenue Q-9 in Palmdale. Admission is free and there will be raffles and door prizes given away. “This is a great opportunity for people 55 and over to learn more about everything from health and wellness, to housing and insurance, to leisure activities and more,” said Palmdale’s Recreation Coordinator Laura Rice. “We’ll have representatives from more than two dozen organizations on hand to answer questions and present information.” Participating organizations include: AAG Reverse Mortgage, AGA Medicare Options, Americana Referral Services, Antelope Valley Community Clinic-Lancaster Adult Day Health Care, Antelope Valley Partners for Health, Bankers Life, Bigelow Family Home Care, Bureau of Victim Services, County DA Office, City of Hope Antelope Valley, Clear Captions, Connect Hearing, Curves Palmdale, Edward Jones Investments, Halley Olsen Murphy Funeral & Cremations, Heritage Clinic, Heritage Sierra Medical Group, Home Instead Senior Care, HRBC Insurance, Joshua Memorial & Park Mortuary, L.A.
