PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF PALMDALE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING REPROGRAMMING OF FUNDS FOR THE 2014-2015 PROGRAM YEAR AND THE PRIOR YEAR ACTION PLANS In accordance with the City’s Citizen Participation Plan and the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this notice is to invite public comment and review of the City of Palmdale’s proposal to amend the 2014-2015 Action Plan by the City Council on December 3, 2014 to: decrease CDBG Unprogrammed Funds and to increase funding to the ADA activity. The City proposes to amend the 2014-2015 Action Plan to reprogram funding to the activities under the following CDBG project: ADA McAdam Park will provide ADA improvements including design and installation of McAdam Park Pool deck and slot drains to current ADA standards. This activity is eligible under 570.201(c) Public Facilities and Improvements and has a national objective of low moderate clientele. Subsequent to public comment and review, the action, if approved by City Council, will reprogram funds in the 2014-2015 Action Plan and prior Action Plans as follows: From: Unprogrammed Funds ($253,000) Total ($253,000) To: ADA McAdam Park Pool Deck $253,000 Total $253,000 Individuals wishing to express their views concerning the above proposed activities are invited to attend the public hearing on December 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 38300 N. Sierra Hwy, Suite B, City of Palmdale, or submit written comments to the City of Palmdale, Neighborhood Services Department, 38250 N. Sierra Hwy, Palmdale, CA 93550 no later than December 3, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. This notice is prepared in compliance with the City’s approved Citizen Participation Plan and Implementing Regulation 24 CFR 91.105.
