Daytime closure with detour for northbound 10th Street West at Palmdale Boulevard September 24, 25 and 26 from 7 am to 3:30 pm. There will be a closure with a detour on 10th Street West for installation on an AT&T vault within the northbound lanes. Please follow detour signs and expect delays. 2. Eastbound Rancho Vista Boulevard from Mesa Lane to 20th Street West Intermittent number 2 lane closure for landscape assessment district tree trimming. 3. Northbound 25th Stree West from Avenue P-6 to Rancho Vista Boulevard Intermittent number 2 lane closure for landscape assessment district tree trimming. 4. 10th Street West from Palmdale Boulevard to Rancho Vista Boulevard Intermittent lane closures for AT&T vault and conduit installation. 5. Elizabeth Lake Road from 2500’ East of Ranch Center Drive to 1500’ West of Joshua Ranch Road Temporary traffic control with changed lane pattern, reduced speeds, and a temporary three way stop at the intersection of Elizabeth Lake Road and Ranch Center Drive for the Joshua Ranch development’s sewer and water improvements. 6. North side of Avenue P-8 (Bulldog Avenue) between 20th Street West and 30th Street West Intermittent number two lane closures for landscape assessment district tree trimming. 7. Southbound 25th Street West from Rancho Vista Boulevard to Avenue P-8 Intermittent No. 2 lane closures for landscape assessment district restoration. 8. 10th Street East, 9th Street East, Avenue Q-11 and Avenue Q-12 Intermittent street and lane closures for Courson Arts Colony offsite utility and street improvements. Q-12 closed between 10TH Street East and 11th Street East. ---PAGE BREAK--- Streetlighting Retrofit Traffic Control Areas The City recently acquired nearly 18,000 streetlights from Southern California Edison and is in the process of converting them from High Pressure Sodium (HPS) to Light Emitting Diode (LED). The new LED lights are more energy efficient and last up to five times longer than the old HPS. The contractor will be spending no more than ten minutes at each light, and any effect on traffic should be brief.
