PALMDALE CITY LIBRARY POLICY #270 - TECHMOBILE RULES OF CONDUCT To provide a clean, comfortable and quiet environment for library use, the Board of Library Trustees has established the following rules of conduct: For your safety and the safety of others: keep personal items with you at all times Not permitted in the immediate area of the Techmobile: disruptive conversation or conduct harassment or unruly behavior which inhibits the use of the Techmobile by others or interferes with their privacy photography without permission of staff use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs conducting business soliciting or petitioning selling items without written permission of the Library Director defacing, destroying or tampering with Library materials, equipment or property sexual activity of any kind possession of weapons running, jumping or climbing refusal to obey the reasonable requests of an employee of the Library All items taken from area must be checked out by Library staff. Techmobile users who do not follow these policies may be asked to leave the area for the remainder of the stop. Extreme or continued violations of these policies may result in the Techmobile leaving the area prematurely and/or calling the police. Adopted: 6/16/15
