PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF PALMDALE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING REPROGRAMMING OF FUNDS FOR THE 2014-2015 PROGRAM YEAR AND THE PRIOR YEAR ACTION PLANS In accordance with the City’s Citizen Participation Plan and the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this notice is to invite public comment and review of the City of Palmdale’s proposal to amend the 2014-2015 and prior Action Plans by the City Council on April 1, 2015 to: cancel 2013-2014 Courson Connection Infrastructure activity and decrease funding, cancel 2014-2015 ADA Improvements activity and decrease funding, decrease funding to 2012-2013 Boulders at the Lake Electric Infrastructure, decrease funding to 2012-2013 ADA Improvements, and increase funding to 2013-2014 ADA Improvements and 2014-2015 Courson Connection Infrastructure. Subsequent to public comment and review, the action, if approved by City Council, will reprogram funds in the 2014-2015 Action Plan and prior Action Plans as follows: From: 2013-2014 Courson Infrastructure ($15,000) 2012-2013 ADA Improvements ($17,344) 2014-2015 ADA Improvements ($50,000) 2012-2013 Boulders at the Lake Electric Infrastructure ($270,551) Total ($352,895) To: 2013-2014 ADA Improvements (McAdam Park ADA) $82,344 2014-2015 Courson Infrastructure $270,551 Total $352,895 Individuals wishing to express their views concerning the above proposed activities are invited to attend the public hearing on April 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 38300 N.
