FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: June 30, 2017 City Hall to Close for Independence Day Holiday PALMDALE – City of Palmdale administrative and business offices, the Palmdale Playhouse box office, Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) and Palmdale City Library will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Joe Davies Heritage Airpark at Palmdale Plant 42 will be open on July 4 from 11 am to 4 pm. DryTown Water Park will also be open on July 4 from 11 am to 6 pm. Administrative and business offices will reopen Wednesday, July 5 at 7:30 am. The Palmdale City Library will reopen on Wednesday, July 5 at 10 am. The Palmdale Playhouse Box Office will reopen two hours before the next scheduled performance. Legacy Commons will reopen on Wednesday, July 5 at 8 am. SAVES will reopen on Wednesday, July 5 at 8:30 am. In the event of an emergency, residents may call 661/267-5338. Emergencies include sewer overflows, roadway/right of way hazards including downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes, or broken sprinkler lines in City parks and landscaped areas. Residents may register for Recreation and Culture department programs at www.PlayPalmdale.com, purchase concert tickets at www.PalmdaleAmphitheater.com ---PAGE BREAK--- and purchase tickets from the Palmdale Playhouse at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.CityofPalmdale.org, 24 hours 7 days a week. The Library’s online services will also be available at www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.
