FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: September 14, 2017 America’s Job Center of California to Host Hiring Event for Construction Project PALMDALE – The America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) (formerly the South Valley WorkSource Center), located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a hiring event on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 9 am to 1 pm for a construction project in Valencia. The positions are full time and include rack installers, construction labor, construction clean up and general labor. Potential candidates should have some prior experience, knowledge of power tools, ability to lift 50-60 lb., and have steel toe shoes. The pay rate is $13/hour. Interested applicants are encouraged to bring their California ID/driver’s license, social security card and resume. Candidates must be registered with CalJobs and come dressed professionally.
