FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: July 21, 2017 Book Swap at the Palmdale City Library PALMDALE - To celebrate Palmdale City Library’s 40th birthday, the Library is hosting a book swap for children and adults on Friday, July 28 at 5:30 pm. “A book swap is the perfect way to freshen up your home library,” said Library Associate Jaimie Jordan. “Bring up to 3 gently used books (no markings, tears, liquid damage, etc.) and for each book you bring, you will get to choose a new-to-you book. The selection of books will only be as good as participants make it, so search your shelves for those forgotten gems!” “The book swap will take place during the Library’s 40th birthday party, so there will be lots of other great activities to enjoy, too,” Jordan added. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
