WHEN: Monday, June 5. City Council meeting briefing at 10 am. Budget briefing at 11 am. WHERE: Press and Budget Briefings: Finance Conference Area; Palmdale City Hall. WHO: Press Briefing: Mayor Jim Ledford will brief members of the working press on issues to be discussed at the regularly scheduled Tuesday, June 6 City Council meeting. Budget Briefing: City Manager Jim Purtee, Finance Manager Karen Johnston, and Assistant Finance Manager Hamed Jones will brief members of the working press on the budget issues to be discussed at the budget workshop meeting that will take place on Tuesday, June 6 at 5 pm in the City Council Chamber, 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite B. The regular Palmdale City Council meeting will be held at 7 pm, following the budget workshop. Staff will ask the City Council to adopt the FY 2017-18 budget.
