FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: February 17, 2017 Registration Extended for T-Ball, Coaches Pitch, Baseball and Girl’s Softball PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s recreation and culture department is extending registration for Youth T-Ball, Coaches Pitch, Baseball and Girl’s Softball programs through Thursday, Feb. 23. These fun and educational programs help young ballplayers develop skills and self-esteem. Teams play a twelve-game schedule. Coach determines practice day and time. Practices are held at McAdam Park and Best of the West Softball Complex and games are held at Best of the West Softball Complex during the week and Saturdays. The age range for Youth T-Ball, Coaches Pitch and Baseball is from 5 to 14. Registration fee ranges from a discounted fee of $70 to $75 for Palmdale residents and $88 to 94 for non-residents. Fee includes jersey, cap, trophy and picture package. For Girl’s Softball, the age range is 10 to 16 with registration fees discounted to $75 for Palmdale residents and $94 for non-residents. Fee includes jersey, cap, trophy and picture package. Online registration is available at www.cityofpalmdale.org/playpalmdale. Participants may also register at the parks and recreation office, 38260 10th St. East, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm.
