FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: October 9, 2017 City of Palmdale to Complete Drainage Improvement PALMDALE — The City of Palmdale’s Public Works crew will complete a drainage improvement by installing asphalt on the shoulder of 65th West between Ave. M and Ave. M-4 beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Both directions of 65th West between Ave. M and approximately Ave. M-4 will be closed at 8 am. The project will require the road to be closed intermittently to complete. The road is expected to be completely re-opened by 2 pm. The hours of this closure have been planned around peak commuter and local school times. The project is funded through the City’s Street Maintenance budget.
