FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: June 4, 2018 Palmdale City Library to Host June Edition of Spin a Yarn Returns PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library’s knit and crochet program will be held Thursday, June 14, from 5:30 to 7 pm in the Activity Room of the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd. Spin a Yarn is held on the second Thursday of each month. Knowledge of the basics is required, but all skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. Participants work independently and should bring their own yarn and needles or hooks. The Library will provide snacks and refreshments and participants will have access to the Library’s books on knitting and crocheting. “It’s fun seeing other people’s projects, and you just might be inspired to try a new stitch or color!” said Library Associate, Jaimie Jordan. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
