FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: August 3, 2018 RockTheArt Returns to Domenic Massari & Marie Kerr Parks in August PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale will host its next Rock the Art event at the Marie Kerr Park Community Building, located at 39700 30th St. West and Domenic Massari Park, 37716 55th St. East on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 5 to 6:30 pm. This free event is open to everyone age 5 and above. Park staff will provide rocks, paint and tips to create beautiful rock. All rocks will be hidden within City parks for others to find and re-hide or replace with their own rock art. “Join the rock movement and express your best art on rocks, and give without the expectation of return!” said Palmdale’s Recreation Coordinator Joi Christy.
