Service Hours Palmdale Summer Lunch Program Looking for a way to share your passion for the community with others? Want to engage others in making a difference? The City of Palmdale is currently recruiting volunteers to assist with enrichment activities at the 2017 Summer Lunch Program. This position will be part of a vibrant team of volunteers working together to engage residents in a variety of community opportunities. A successful Student Volunteer will have the ability to: Assist children with a variety of enrichment activities Interact well with a diverse range of individuals and conduct him/herself in a professional manner Available hours: Monday - Friday between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm Students wishing to earn service hours may contact Community Programs at: 661/1267-5452 or 661/267-5453 Students are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 10th at 5:00 pm Chimbole Cultural Center 38350 Sierra Hwy., Palmdale, CA 93550 Students under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
