FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: May 11, 2018 “Splatoon” Wii U Tournament Coming to the Palmdale City Library PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E Palmdale Blvd, will host a video game tournament on Tuesday, May 15 from 4 to 5:30 pm for the game “Splatoon” for Wii U. The tournament is for participants of all ages, entry is free, and the top two performers will earn prizes. “Any Inklings out there aching to paint your way to victory?” asked Library Associate Samuel Fewell. “Well, this is your chance, and we've got an inkling you'll want to take it. Put your ink shooting skills to the test in this balloon-popping, squid-morphing, high-energy video game as you aim for the top spots!” The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
