FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: May 14, 2018 New Book Club for the “Artistically Inclined” Coming to the Palmdale City Library PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, will host the inaugural meeting for its newest book club called Read, Learn, Create: A Book Club for the Artistically Inclined on Sunday, May 20 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, in the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd. Read, Learn, Create: A Book Club for the Artistically Inclined, or RLC, is not a typical book club. The RLC is intended for creative types who tend to think outside of the box. As one of its founders, Haley Crow, puts it, "RLC connects artists with themselves and other creatives in a way that leads to fearless and true-to-you art making." The club is open to all creative types age 16 and older. The first book to be discussed at the May 20 meeting will be The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
