Palmdale Blvd., will host a Summer Movie Series on Fridays at 1 pm in June and July. Admission and popcorn are free. This event is open to all ages. Movies will be shown June 8, 15, 22 and 29, and July 13 and 20. Scheduled movies include, Moana (rated PG), Goonies (rated PG), Minions (rated PG), Cars (rated Nim’s Island (rated PG) and Ratatouille (rated “This summer we’re excited to offer free showings of some of our favorite movies on Friday afternoons,” said Assistant Library Director Debbie Petersen. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale City Library. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
