FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CITY OF PALMDALE NEWS RELEASE CONTACT: John Mlynar PHONE: 661/267-5115 DATE: August 31, 2018 Palmdale City Hall to Close Labor Day; DryTown Open PALMDALE – City of Palmdale administrative and business offices, the Palmdale Playhouse box office, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) and Palmdale City Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day. In the event of an emergency, residents may call 661/267-5338. Emergencies include sewer overflows, roadway/right of way hazards including downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes, or broken sprinkler lines in City parks and landscaped areas. DryTown Water Park will be open Labor Day from 11 am to 6 pm. DryTown will be open weekends through Sept. 9. Administrative and business offices will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 am. The Palmdale City Library will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 10 am. SAVES will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 9 am. Residents may register for Recreation and Culture department programs at www.PlayPalmdale.com, and purchase tickets from the Palmdale Playhouse at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.CityofPalmdale.org, 24 hours 7 days a week.
