Ave. Q-9, is seeking volunteers to assist in preparing to serve over 500 local families during the holiday season. Volunteers are needed to assist staff to organize and document incoming toy/gift donations, organize and document incoming food donations, pack holiday meal packages, assist program parents to select age appropriate gifts for their children and wrap gifts. “You can make a huge impact on the lives of those less fortunate in our community simply by donating a few spare hours of your time,” said SAVES Coordinator Patricia Morales. Shifts are available Saturday, Dec. 15, 9 am to 12 pm; Monday, Dec 17 through Friday, Dec. 21, from 9 am to 1 pm and 1 to 6 pm.
