PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF PALMDALE DEPARTMENT OF NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING REPROGRAMMING OF FUNDS FOR THE 2015-2016 PROGRAM YEAR AND THE PRIOR YEAR ACTION PLANS In accordance with the City’s Citizen Participation Plan and the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this notice is to invite public comment and review of the City of Palmdale’s proposal to amend the 2015-2016 and prior Action Plans by the City Council on January 6, 2016 to: decrease funding for the 2012-2013 Boulders at the Lake Electric Infrastructure, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 Courson Infrastructure and program unused funds from prior years to the new 2015-2016 Camera and Light Installation at Domenic Massari, McAdam, and Courson Parks activity. Subsequent to public comment and review, the action, if approved by the City Council, will reprogram funds to the new 2015-2016 Camera and Light Installation at Domenic Massari, McAdam, and Courson Parks activity in the 2015-2016 Action Plan as follows: From: 2012-2013 Boulders at the Lake Electric Infrastructure ($294,413) 2012-2013 Courson Infrastructure (14,328) 2013-2014 Courson Infrastructure (87,520) 2013-2014 Unprogrammed Funds ($162,006) 2014-2015 Unprogrammed Funds ($91,733) Total ($650,000) To: 2015-2016 Camera and Light Installation at Domenic Massari, McAdam, and Courson Parks $650,000 Total $650,000 Individuals wishing to express their views concerning the above proposed activities are invited to attend the public hearing on January 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 38300 N. Sierra Hwy, Suite B, City of Palmdale, or submit written comments to the City of Palmdale, Neighborhood Services Department, 38250 N. Sierra Hwy, Palmdale, CA 93550 no later than January 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. This notice is prepared in compliance with the City’s approved Citizen Participation Plan and Implementing Regulation 24 CFR 91.105.
