Copperman on Wednesday, June 21, at 7 pm, at the Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway. Newly divorced Alison Kerby wants a second chance for herself and her nine-year- old daughter. She's returned to her hometown on the Jersey Shore to transform a Victorian fixer-upper into a charming---and profitable---guest house. One small problem: the house is haunted, and the two ghosts insist Alison must find out who killed them. Copperman is the author of the Asperger's Mysteries, the Haunted Guesthouse series, the Mysterious Detective series and the Agent to the Paws series. The Mystery, Murder and Mayhem Mystery Book Discussion Group meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm, at the Larry Chimbole Cultural Center. The group is open to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. The discussion also provides disabled access with 72 hours’ notice.
