I was the Executive Director for Campfire Boys and Girls in Great Fall MT for almost two years. I have a strong financial management background. I will be making Pahrump my retirement home and want to become an active member of the community, helping out where I can. I will be a resident after some issues are resolved in my current home state of MT. I landed on Walker Lake. It is beautiful there, but I decided a little bit too remote, so I followed the road south and arrived at Pahrump. I began to look for land or a house and visited for the first time in Oct 2017. It took over a year, but I finally have the property I found on that trip. My original plan was to visit here in my rv once a year until I retired in 2020 but then I decided to retire in May 2018. Since November I have been mostly in Pahrump preparing to put a house on my property. Now without a job to interfere I am ready to get involved in community activities and glad that Pahrump will be that community. I believe my degree in Recreation Administration and over 12 years of recreation management in the Air Force plus strong financial management experience provides me with a solid foundation to serve on the Pahrump Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
