September 12, 2019 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held at 7:00PM, on September 12, 2019 at the Bob Ruud Community Center, located at 150 N Hwy 160 Pahrump, NV 89060. 1 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert 7:00 pm 2. Roll Call Scot T, Robert T, Loyce S, Cody C, Darius M, Steve P, Steve C, Jimmy M 3. Approval of the Agenda for September 12, 2019. Scot made a motion to approve Steve second all in favor. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) Pahrump chamber of commerce said thank you very much for all the support Robert asked about Mutton busting time and days, also who is getting the hay for rodeo. 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of August 08, 2019. Scot made a motion to accept, Cody second, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First) Circus this weekend. Following weekend PVRR weekend after that Fall Fest. 7. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Arena Reservations. Michelle makes a motion to approve PVRR Oct 6, Cody second, all in favor, Cody made a motion to approve Oct 11-13 2019, April 3-5 2020 and May 1-3, 2020, NWH for Little Britches Rodeo Michelle second, all in favor. Scot makes a motion to except NWH Jan 4-5, March 7-8, June 26-27, July 24-25, Aug 28-29, Nov 7-8, 2020 dates, Cody, second all in favor. Michelle made a motion to except Balloon Fest Feb 28-April 1, for Pahrump Chamber of Commernce. Scot second. All in favor. Steve made a motion to approve Oct 26 for a private wedding, Scot second, all in favor. 8. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding Arena fixes Scot asked Jimmy if water trucks are running. Scot asked about the shutters, Jimmy said yes all good. Darius asked if the rollers were replaced on the tractor, Jimmy said that they purchase a new updated roller ready to go and repaired the original one. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation requested where funds came from for the ball fields to access the situation of covering arena and replacement of light poles and upgrading lighting to more power conserving LED lighting. Scot made a motion to table, Loyce second, all in favor 10. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of repair or replace of water truck. Scot asked Jimmy for est on repairs and replace of axle, and estimate of 275 an hour. Jimmy is looking to repairing the axle. Est 10000 plug and play for axle. Steve P asked about the size of tank. Jimmy will get with his mechanic to get estimate for repairs and get with his GSA for possible replacement and discuss for next meeting, 11.
