‘SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR TICKETS PROGRAM’ Pahrump Justice Court is rapidly working on a ‘school supplies for tickets’ program. If the people of Pahrump have received a traffic ticket (or their traffic ticket is currently at active bench warrant) and would prefer to purchase school supplies in the amount no less than $75.00, the court will waive the fine and fees and reduce the violation*. In addition, the court will also be waiving any failure to appear fees and/or warrant fees, if applicable. All received school supplies will be donated to the Nye County School District for distribution. How the program works: 1. Purchase school supplies in an amount greater than or equal to $75.00. 2. Bring your receipt and the new unopened supplies to the Pahrump Justice Court located at 1520 E. Basin Avenue, Suite 104. Items being accepted for the program includes: • Pencils • Pens • Erasers • Dry erase markers • Index cards • Disinfecting wipes • Kleenex • Crayons/Color pencils/Highlighters • Notebooks/Composition • Glue/Glue sticks • Binders/Folders • Backpack/Lunchbox This program will run from June 1, 2022, through July 31, 2022.
