PLAC Minutes June 9, 2020 Page 1 Pursuant to NRS, the Pahrump Public Land Advisory Committee was held at Chief Tecopa Cemetery, Multipurpose Building located at 751 S East St Pahrump, NV 89060 on June 9, 2020 at 5:00 PM 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order Called to order at 5PM. The Pledge was recited. 2. Roll Call PRESENT, Mike Zaman, Robert Adams, Jim Hannah, Commissioner Deb Strickland, BLM Ranger Ryan Galleger. 3. Approval of the Agenda for June 9, 2020. No call for changes. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first). None. 5. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of draft minutes of the Pahrump Public Lands Committee meeting of May 12, 2020. Move to approve by Jim Hannah. 2nd by Mike Zaman. Aye by all. 6. Announcements (first) BLM Ranger Galleger announced new BLM PFO manager hired. 7. For Possible Action - Emergency Items. None. 8. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas). Should PLAC expand responsibilities to include Pahrump Fairgrounds by Deb Strickland. 9. Report by Robert Adams of progress on permanent OHV route(s) between Carpenter Canyon Road and South Wheeler Road in vicinity of SR 160. See maps in supporting docs. 10.Report by Robert Adams and discussion of Pahrump to Beatty portion of Pahrump to Tonopah Offroad Adventure Trail.
