Minutes of the Pahrump Public Land Advisory Committee August 9, 2022 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee was held on August 9, 2022, at 5:00pm at the Pahrump Nye County Commissioner’s Chambers 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order 5pm. In attendance: Rick Tretter, Jim Hannah, Robert Adams, Frank Slaghuis, Jim Hannah, BLM Ryan Gallagher, & Nick Pay. 2. Approval of the agenda for August 9, 2022. No changes called for. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). Beatty Days going forward. Adoption event considered. Roy Gallagher is seeking contact info for Desert Angels Search & Rescue group. 4. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of minutes of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee meeting of July 12, 2022 Move to approve by Jim Hannah. 2nd by Rick Tretter. Yes by all. 5. Announcements (First) 6. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas). Guzzlers filled by recent heavy rain reported by Robert Adams. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision to participate in Pahrump’s Fall Festival. Sept. 22 – 24.
